Relationship between clinical status, quality of life and physical exercise tolerance indicators with biomarkers in patients with cardiorenal syndrome

The article presents a comprehensive assessment of the relationship between clinical status (CSAS), quality of life (MLHFQ), and physical exercise tolerance (6-minute walk test — 6MWT) indicators with biomarkers in cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) developed against the background of chronic heart failure (CHF). The study included 240 participants: Group 1 — with CRS (n=100), Group 2 — CHF without CRS (n=100), Group 3 — control (n=40). In the CRS group, the CSAS score was 7.2±0.2 (control: 1.2±0.1, 6-fold higher), MLHFQ score — 56.4±1.7 (control: 8.5±0.8, 6.6-fold higher — low quality of life), 6MWT — 262±10 m (control: 525±14, 2-fold lower). G/G genotype carriers showed the most severe clinical course: CSAS — 7.9, MLHFQ — 61.6, 6MWT — 225.8 m (vs A/A; p<0.001). Correlations were established between 6MWT and uromodulin (r=+0.69), MLHFQ and uromodulin (r=−0.71), CSAS and NT-proBNP (r=+0.72). 4 diagrams and 2 tables are presented.
