Due to its structural and functional features, the cervix occupies a special place in the reproductive system, largely determining the prospects for full-fledged fertilization, uncomplicated pregnancy and timely delivery. Despite modern advances in the diagnosis and treatment of benign diseases of the cervix, its pathology continues to be the most important problem in obstetrics and gynecology. In this work, the types of diagnostics in pregnant women with suspected cervical pathology are evaluated. Various instrumental diagnostic methods have been used, the most important and reliable today is the colposcopic examination method, which allows early detection of pathological changes in the cervix.
