Fetal growth retardation syndrome (FGRS) is a leading cause of high perinatal mortality and morbidity in newborns. High risk factors for the development of FGRS were identified based on a study of social status, obstetric and gynecological history, somatic diseases and pregnancy complications. The study was conducted at the Republican Perinatal Center (Uzbekistan) for the period 2021 – 2022. We studied 135 birth histories of patients admitted to the hospital for delivery with FGRS, with impaired uteropacentral-fetal circulation (IUPFC) and without FGRS and without IUPFC.
