This article analyzes the main directions, advantages and existing problems ofimproving digital transformation processes in the construction sector. Digital transformationprovides an opportunity to increase efficiency, reduce costs and time by introducing moderninformation and communication technologies into construction projects, management andmonitoring processes. Based on the opinions of local scientists and practitioners, examples ofthe application of technologies such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), IoT (Internet ofThings), artificial intelligence and data analytics in construction companies are given. Also, theproblems that arise in implementing digital transformation - infrastructure, personnel training,weak regulatory and legal framework - and ways to overcome them are discussed. At the end ofthe article, the digital future of the construction sector and proposals are presented.
