Статья посвящена исследованию и сохранению исторического наследия фармакологии Узбекистана, с особым акцентом на Фармакопею Карабадина Кадыри XVI века. В ней рассматривается значимость этого уникального медицинского документа, который не только отражает традиционные методы лечения, но и служит важным источником знаний о лекарственных растениях и их применении в древней медицине. Анализируется текущий проект по переводу и цифровизации Фармакопеи, осуществляемый в Государственной научной медицинской библиотеке Узбекистана, подчеркивая его роль в сохранении культурного наследия и доступности исторических данных для будущих поколений. Статья также освещает вызовы и перспективы, связанные с интеграцией старинных рукописей в современную научную практику, а также важность междисциплинарного подхода в изучении медицинских текстов.
