This article is dedicated to ensuring sustainable development through increasing the competitiveness of hotel enterprises, as well as their importance today. The article considers the problem of increased competition in the Uzbek hotel market because of sustainable development. It has been analyzed the importance of the concept of sustainable development today. Besides, it has been given scientific recommendations for solving importance of hotels in the development of tourism industry in our country.
