Over the course of the past three decades, the role of Central Asia has drastically changed, once more in its history. We have witnessed this region’s evolution from political non-existence, to becoming an increasingly important actor on international arena again. Located at the very heart of Asia, and being a key midpoint of the Islamic World, Central Asia has become an integral part of Eurasian and global processes.
