Pancreonecrosis is diagnosed in about 20% of patients with acute pancreatitis (AP), while 30 – 70% ofthem develop pancreonecrosis infection, which leads to an increase in the mortality rate to 20 – 30%. Minimally invasive methods of surgical treatment of destructive pancreatitis are becoming widespread, amongwhich retroperitoneal access to the pancreatic necrosis zone is of the greatest interest, which is currentlyconsidered as a new standard of treatment for AP. Methods of transmural and percutaneous endoscopicnecrectomy for pancreatic necrosis are being actively introduced.
