The issues of modern tactics of burn wounds local treatment using various medications and temporarywound coverings were reviewed by the authors. Despite a variety of modern dressings for local treatmentof burn wounds, the specialists are not yet fully satisfied with results. The development and widespreadintroduction into clinical practice, contribute to the improvement of treatment results in this category ofpatients. The use of temporary wound coverings reduces the recovery process, being the most physiologically acceptable coverings of the wound burn surface, achieving their main goal – early formation ofgranulation tissue, reduction of secondary inflammatory processes. The effectiveness of local treatmentof burn wounds depends on the timely and correct choice of drugs depending on the phase of the woundprocess.
