Relevance. Eye injuries in modern epidemiology are in third place among all stationary eye pathologies. Eye injuries are one of the leading causes of acquired blindness and low vision in the population. They caused blindness in 500 thousand people in the world and loss of vision in one eye in 2 million people. Purpose of the study. To determine the effectiveness of prevention of traumatic optic neuropathy by using magnetic and color stimulation, based on electrophysiological parameters of the eye. Materials and methods. To solve these problems, we examined 60 patients (60 eyes) with post-traumatic hemodynamic changes in the retinal vessels. Depending on the treatment, the following representative groups were identified by patients: control, 1st, 2nd; the last two made up the main group of patients examined. Results and conclusion. The use of the proposed method of treatment using magnetic and color stimulation for the prevention of the occurrence of TON in patients of the main group contributed to an increase in the maximum corrected visual acuity by an average of 25.4±5.1% compared to the initial value and an expansion of the total border of the peripheralvisual field by 7±1.3%.
