Annotation. COVID‑19 spread around the world at a terrible speed and SARS‑CoV‑2 has led to long‑term health consequences. Purpose of this study.Analysis of the development of panophthalmitis in a patient with a disseminated lung process in the post‑ COVID period. Material and methods. The study involved a patient with panophthalmitis of the right eye, who was treated at the Republican Clinical Ophthalmological Hospital. The patient’s age is 30 years. The patient underwent a comprehensive ophthalmological examination, including visometry, biomicroscopy, ultrasound examination of the eyeball, A‑scan and palpation measurement of intraocular pressure.Results. Within one month, the patient was hospitalized twice to the Zangiota‑1 Infectious Diseases Hospital for COVID‑19 Patients, with a diagnosis of Right‑sided Coronavirus Pneumonia, as well as to the Center for Phthisiology and Pulmonology. Tuberculosis infection in the blood was found in the hospital. In connection with the development of panophthalmitis and melting of the sclera, evisceration of the right eye was performed. Conclusion. In the post‑covid period, due to the activation of endogenous inflammatory processes, reactive panophthalmitis may develop. Properly selected treatment tactics will prevent the development of the inflammatory process in the fellow eye.
