Annotation. Ocular injuries that do not penetrate the cornea, in some cases lead to serious complications and even loss of the eye, remain an urgent problem. The fact that the cornea is the least protected from external influences causes that its injuries make up 25% of all traumatic eye injuries. Therefore, studying the etiology of non-perforating corneal injuries and a comprehensive approach to preventing these injuries is one of the important steps in preserving vision.
