Mazkur maqolada ingliz va o‘zbek tillarida fonetik interferensiya hamda talaffuzdagi tipologik tafovutlar chog‘ishtirma aspektda tahlil qilinadi. Unda unli va undosh fonemalar, aspiratsiya, dental frikativlar, diftonglar, urg‘u, ritm, intonatsiya va unli reduksiyasining o‘zbek tilida so‘zlashuvchilarning inglizcha talaffuziga ta’siri yoritiladi. Natijada ushbu fonologik farqlar fonetik interferensiyani yuzaga keltirishi va talaffuz o‘qitishda alohida e’tibor talab qilishi asoslanadi.
