Annotatsiya

This article examines the problem of the representation of the concept of quantity in the language system based on materials from the Uzbek language. The features of the manifestation of quantity at the phonological, morphological, lexical-semantic, and syntactic levels are analyzed. During the research, it is substantiated that the concept of quantity is expressed not only through the category of number, but also through various linguistic means at all levels of language. Special attention is paid to the gradual (gradation-based) nature of the concept of quantity, demonstrating that it is a universal cognitive category reflecting the connection between language and thought.
