The article reveals the specifics and the scientific and practical potential of social innovation mechanisms, the advantages of the tools of sociology of innovations, as compared with economic analysis to ensure the innovative development of business structures. A qualitative assessment of the state of the business environment of Uzbekistan as the main factor for the sustainable development of business entities and their susceptibility to innovation is given.
