Early identification of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is a key prerequisite for the timely initiation of intervention programs and for improving the prognosis of a child’s psycho-speech and social development. In clinical practice, the screening tool Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers, Revised (M-CHAT-R) and the diagnostic scale Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) are widely used. These instruments differ in their objectives, structure, and diagnostic focus.
