A total of 102 patients aged 7 to 18 years who were receiving inpatient treatment for type 1 diabetes mellitus underwent clinical and neurological examination. They were divided into two groups depending on the age at disease manifestation and current age. Their neurological status was studied with the aim of further optimizing diagnostic and corrective approaches.
