Currently, significant attention is being paid to the diagnosis and treatment of arterial hypertension, as it is a risk factor for the development of acute vascular pathologies (stroke, myocardial infarction). However, there are significantly fewer publications on the clinical issues related to autonomic dysregulation of blood circulation, which leads to arterial hypotension. In recent years, particular interest has been drawn to the identification and treatment of early forms of pre-stroke conditions. In particular, the initial manifestations of chronic cerebral ischemia arising against the background of cardiovascular pathologies, such as arterial hypotension, make this issue especially relevant. This is primarily due to the prevalence of arterial hypotension among the population.According to modern data, approximately 33% of women and 4% of men suffer from arterial hypotension, with the condition being more common in young and middle-aged women. According to V.B. Laskov, individuals suffering from arterial hypotension can be classified as a high-risk group for developing neurological disorders, as hemodynamic disturbances in such cases contribute to the development of cerebrovascular pathologies and may lead to acute cerebrovascular accidents.
