This article provides a theoretical and practical analysis of the interrelation between fnancial literacy and publicfnancial policy. The reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years are examined, including the concept of developingthe fnancial services market, the practice of the “Participatory Budget,” and measures aimed at enhancing the fnancialinclusion of the population, in comparison with international experience. Based on OECD, IMF, and World Bank data, astatistical analysis of fnancial literacy levels across countries and their impact on the effectiveness of economic policy ispresented.
