The article is devoted to the analysis of the mechanisms of stimulating investment activity in the enterprises ofthe energy sector. Sustainable economic growth in this industry is impossible without the introduction of effective toolsaimed at enhancing investment and innovation activities, especially in the regional context. One of the key conditions foreffective development is the formation of a national innovation system capable of ensuring close cooperation betweengovernment agencies, business and the scientific community.
