The article sees the basics of the theory and method of digital economy, its basic concepts, purpose, content,principles and features. It is based on the fact that in the process of substantiating the digital economy, it is necessary touse the data of economic calculations. In the technologies of Information Communication of the Republic, widespreadattention is paid to the creation and implementation of a system of protection of the digital economy.
