In a context where the quality of human capital is increasingly tied to investments in education, budgetaryfinancing remains a key component of education policy. This article examines the existing models of budgetary financingfor educational institutions, their effectiveness, and applicability in the context of Uzbekistan. Using comparative analysismethods, financing efficiency indices, and data from international organizations, the authors develop recommendationsto improve the system’s efficiency. Special attention is given to the transition to a results-based approach and theexpansion of institutional autonomy. The article includes empirical data, tables, and charts that reflect the current stateand opportunities for improvement.
