Cytostatic therapy for tumors of the blood system is associated with a high risk of developing infectious complications, the frequency of which is 80% or more, especially in the first stages of treatment. The purpose of our study was to dynamically study the incidence, spectrum and structure of infectious complications in patients with various forms of hematological malignancies at different stages of chemotherapy in one hematology hospital and to assess their impact on the overall effectiveness of treatment.
