The article discusses the main features of pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases in the United States. Taking into account how court cases are regulated by criminal documents, ways of documenting criminal cases, such as protocols and reports, as well as the use of photography and video, information technology, and drawing up plans and diagrams will be shown.
