Currently, a number of studies are being carried out on the victim and his legal status in the criminal procedure sphere, which is one of the defenders of their interests in the criminal process. This article is also devoted to the analysis of procedural guarantees of the rights of victims in criminal proceedings, as well as a detailed study of the theoretical and legal provisions on procedural guarantees of the rights of victims. At the same time, the article analyzes a number of norms of national legislation on the victim and his legal status in the criminal procedure sphere.
