This article describes the role and features of incentive norms, studies some of the incentive norms enshrined in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, analyzes the differences between these norms with a voluntary refusal to commit a crime, and also makes appropriate scientific conclusions and recommendations on theoretical aspects. In addition, the views of a number of scientists have been studied and analyzed on this matter. Based on this, certain scientific and theoretical conclusions and recommendations were developed, as well as opinions on this matter were given.
