This article analyzes the phenomenon of patriotism among students in the light of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026. The modern understanding of the culture of patriotism by the younger generation of students in the Republic of Uzbekistan is considered. The place of patriotism in the life of modern youth is highlighted, where patriotism acts as a moral principle, which means deep ideological conviction, the highest civic responsibility for the fate and future of the country. Traditionally, the concept of a culture of patriotism is closely connected with the historical memory and civic identity of student youth.
