This article explores the psychological foundations of professional adaptation as a key factor influencingprofessional performance. It analyzes motivational, emotional, cognitive, and reflective aspects that shape an individual’scapacity to adjust effectively to workplace demands. Drawing on classical and contemporary psychological theories, thestudy highlights the importance of self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, and continuous learning in achieving adaptivestability. The results demonstrate that professional adaptation is not a passive process but a dynamic interaction betweenpersonal resources and environmental challenges. Strengthening these psychological mechanisms through mentoringand training enhances productivity, creativity, and resilience among specialists
