This article explores effective strategies for teaching English to pre-intermediate students, particularly withinthe context of Uzbek schools. It examines how interactive methods–such as role-play, group work, and the use of digitaltools–can enhance learner engagement and facilitate more effective language acquisition. Drawing on both local andinternational studies, the article highlights the importance of bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world English communication.The aim is to provide teachers with practical, culturally appropriate approaches to fostering a student-centered,communicative classroom environment.
