ANALYSIS OF MACRO AND MICROELEMENTS IDENTIFIED IN THE ROOT AND AERIAL PARTS OF CICHORIUM INTYBUS L. (A CASE STUDY OF A PLANT SAMPLE COLLECTED IN RISHTON DISTRICT, FERGANA REGION)

Annotatsiya

Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) was used to determine the contents of 43 macro- and microelements in the root and aerial parts of Cichorium intybus L. samples collected from Rishton District, Fergana Region. The analysis of elemental composition revealed that the predominant macroelements were Ca (5963 mg/kg), K (3645 mg/kg), Na (2328 mg/kg), P (1555 mg/kg), S (384 mg/kg), Mg (367 mg/kg), and Si (273 mg/kg). In addition, the major microelements identified were Fe (360 mg/kg), Al (60 mg/kg), Sr (245 mg/kg), Cu (10 mg/kg), Ba (7.937 mg/kg), Zn (6 mg/kg), and Mn (4.7 mg/kg). A comparative analysis was carried out between the samples obtained from the aerial parts and the roots of the plant.
