The development of vertebro-neurology has been marked by significant progress in the study of pathogenesis, clinic and treatment of vertebrogenic diseases of the nervous system in adults. However, despite this, the incidence of diseases caused by degenerative-dystrophic processes in the spine is not only not decreasing, but on the contrary, is increasing. Perhaps this is due to insufficient prevention of vertebrogenic diseases of the nervous system. Between 30 and 60% of the population in developed countries suffer from recurrent back pain, and up to 80% of all back pain is in the lumbar back region. All ages can suffer from spinal pain, but the peak incidence is between 30 and 60 years of age. The currently used treatment protocols in the adult population, such severe forms of STS such as herniated intervertebral disc with concomitant radiculopathy, are not always effective.
