In this article, based on medieval sources studied activity of well-known representatives of Sufism Sheikh Hovand Tahur. In addition, given information on the history of the mosque, mausoleum and other cultural buildings of the Sheikh Hovand Tahur Memorial Complex. Also investigated the role of the memorial complex of Sheikh Hovand Tahur in the Islamic culture of Central Asia.
