Introduction. The health status of school students is significantly influenced by in-school factors, and today their importance is steadily increasing. It is no secret that over the past five years, the sharp annual increase in the amount of dust in the air has led to a rise in various illnesses among children, caused not only by unfavorable in-school conditions. The mismatch between school furniture and students’ age and height characteristics, insufficient levels of artificial lighting, changes in the rational organization of academic workload, nutritional conditions, microclimate indicators, as well as the increase in the amount of dust and microbes, are all closely interconnected.Addressing these issues and improving hygienic recommendations aimed at increasing the number and proportion of students belonging to the first health group is one of the urgent tasks of today. Research Objective: This study aims to conduct a hygienic assessment of the most common somatic diseases among general education school students, analyze the factors affecting their development, and propose preventive measures. The most frequently observed somatic diseases among students include gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular pathologies, endocrine diseases, and allergic reactions. The main objective of the research is to evaluate the relationship between the hygienic conditions of the school environment and the occurrence of somatic diseases, as well as to develop preventive strategies. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted in three general educations schools located in Samarkand city. A total of 300 students aged 10-15 years participated in the research.
