Annotatsiya

In this article, the author’s research shows that HIV-infection among women is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse, and in serodiscordant couples, the risk of sexual transmission to seronegative women is high. The detection of HIV infection in women, especially married women, indicates the transition of the epidemic process from risk groups to the general population, which can lead to an increase in HIV-infected pregnant women and the birth of sick children. In modern conditions, cases of HIV infection among women through non-drug parenteral routes have also been identified.
