From the periphery of the functional-semantic field of aspectuality, words belonging to the verbal group of words and verbs are explained in the explanatory dictionary through synonymy or descriptive synonymy. To improve this interpretation, it is necessary to introduce aspectuality schemes into the description and describe the process of action and state. It is in this interpretation that it becomes possible to identify mutually synonymous lexemes. The principle and form of lexicographic interpretation of words are reflected in the presentation of the same process. The article proves the need for lexical elements that should be included in the explanation of verbs and adverbs.
