This article analyzes the process of formation of crafts and labor relations in Central Asia. The study examines the stages of development of crafts in the ancient craft centers of the region, in particular, in the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva. The division of labor, master-apprentice relationships, and social stratification processes of crafts are also studied. These processes had a great impact on the economic and cultural development of the region. The article systematically analyzes the development of crafts and the formation of labor relations based on historical records, archaeological finds and ethnographic research. The results show the influence of the region's geographical location, trade routes and cultural traditions on the craft.
