Evaluation of the rehabilitation of patients with postoperative defects of the upper jaw.

Annotatsiya

We have examined 66 patients treated at the dental clinic of KazXMUnamed after S.D.Asfendiyarov. The study using functional tests and cards of patients with postoperative defects of the upper jawalk>weddetennining the degree of functional, anatomical disorders and findmgthat the quality ofpatient’s lifewas greatly worsening. After treatment with forming prosthesesthe performed functional tests showed positive results in 76% of patients. In assessmg the quality of speech positive results were found in 73% of patients. After treatment with final prostheses theperformed functional tests showed positive results in S4%> of patients. In assessing the quality of speech the positive results were found in 86% of patients. Proposed by the authors cards of examination and functional tests can be used to determine the quality of the rehabilitation of patients uith postoperative defects of the upper jaw before and after orthopedic treatment.
