The role of ozone therapy in the complex treatment of chronic purulent sinusitis

Annotatsiya

We exammed 118 patients with various forms of chronic purulent rhinosinusitis for the study of the properties of ozone in these patients. Patients were divided into 2 groups. Main group was scheduled ozone therapy with conventional treatment and control group - only standard treatment. We proposed a set of treatment with antianaerobic antibiotics with prolong sinus drainage and ozone therapy which helps to reduce treatment time by an average of 5.3 daw and recommended for implementation in a broad clinical practice.
