Annotatsiya

Torticollis refers to the most common anomalies, occupying the third place among the congenital abnormalities. Not recognized and not treated in time torticollis leads to various deformities of the dentition. The result of examination of 457 children aged 3 to 16 years that the frequency of dental anomalies is aggravated depending on the severity of the underlying disease. Therefore, timely detection of torticollis and dentoalveolar anomalies in this contingent of children and providing them with the necessary preventive care helps to reduce the number of dentoalveolar anomalies and shorten the period of rehabilitation.
