Dentists constantly meet the complaints of patients on dentin hypersensitivity (DG). which is characterized by a special short-term acute pain originating from the cervical dentin bald. The aim of the study was to assess the effi- cacy of professional paste with calcium carbonate and arginine in the treatment of dentin hypersensitivity in patients with periodontitis. It is shown that the use of calcium carbonate professional tools and arginine after non-surgical periodontal treatment provides instant relief from the significant dentin hypersensitivity and stores the duration of this effect for more than 6 weeks.
