The renew deals with the differential diagnosis of keratocysts with ameloblastoma and oher odonogenic tests of the jaw bones. Emphasis is placed on the cytomorphological features of keratocysts: cytological differences in the biopsy material for parakeratocysts and orthokeratocysts, immunohistochemical diagnosis of cytokeratin . Treatment methods for patients directed both towards a radical approach (partial resection of the jaw with a single - stage bone plate), and minimally invasive are considered.
