The article presents an analysis of domestic and foreign publications analyzing the methods of «root membrane» and the traditional method. The root membrane technique is a surgical procedure performed prior to implant placement to induce successful osseointegration as an increase in soft tissue aesthetics by minimizing buccal bone loss after extraction. It separates the root during extraction and leaves the root partially in the buccal side.
