Patients with chronic kidney disease were seleсted , 78 middle-aged men (aged 45 to 59 years) who had suffered from chronic kidney disease (CKD) for three years or more were examined. Among the examined patients suffering from CKD, 42 had chronic pyelonephritis, 36 had chronicglomerulonephritis. The control group consisted of 18 practically healthy men.
