This article states that the society of the state of the Kokan Khanate consists of different social classes, in particular, the descendants of the khans, religious figures, representatives of religious dynasties, merchants, artisans, warriors and representatives of other classes. In addition, opinions were expressed about the role of people with status in society, the privileges granted to them and their significance. Among the population, merchants and artisans occupied a special place; their luxurious homes, clothing, and privileges granted by government officials determined their position in society. It is also reported that the struggle for central power in the khanate led to a split in society into different strata, and the rivalry and confrontation between the sedentary and nomadic lifestyles led to the weakening of the country.
