This article is devoted to the factors that influenced the construction of the Tashkent-Orenburg railway. In the article, archival documents stored in the Central State Archive of the Republic of Uzbekistan, published official documents, periodical press materials, as well as various literature on the subject were analyzed based on the study from the point of view of the present time, and on this basis, the factors that influenced the construction of the railway in our country were briefly clarified.
