The participation of natives of Uzbekistan in the Battle of Stalingrad, which marked the beginning of a radical turning point in World War II, is considered significant. The article highlights the exploits of compatriots for the Height of Immortality carried out at the last stage of the battle. It summarizes the information about the Uzbek fighters of the platoon of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, who died in the battles for this height on the basis of archival documents and literature on this division. Also, the article presents the primary results of the search for compatriots and proposals to immortalize their memory.
