The article discusses the Turkestan and Mologuzar mountain systems and the Mirzachol plant reserve, issues of regional development of various livestock sectors, as well as winter and summer pastoral settlements. Achievements in various areas of livestock farming in the region and their role in supplying livestock products to the markets of the neighboring Fergana Valley and the Tashkent oasis were studied.
