An article about the importance of studying the scientific heritage of one of the great scientists of the Renaissance of the East, the scientist-encyclopedist Abu Zaid Abdurrahman ibn Muhammad ibn Khaldun al-Khidromy al-Ashbili. The article shows that the scientific heritage of the scientist was studied by Russian and Uzbek philosophers, historians, economists, but new problems of our time require a deeper analysis of the scientific heritage of the scientist. The facts are also given about the meeting of Ibn Khaldun with Amir Temur in Syria in 1400 and his commission to write a detailed analysis of the Syrian country and his assessment of the personality of Amir Temur. The article emphasizes the importance of the wonderful work of Ibn Khaldun called "Mukaddimah" and his important scientific conclusions about the sociality of a person, his cognitive abilities, as well as about the five stages of the formation of the state, the sources that serve for the development of the state, and the economic life of society. The article presents Ibn Khaldu's information about the origin of human society, the reasons for its socialization, as well as his thoughts about the source of history and the duties of historians.
