During the Second World War, the literary and cultural environment in Khorezm region was revealed through the analysis of articles, reports and announcements published in the newspapers "Khorezm Haqiqati" and "Khorezmskaya Pravda".There is information about the services provided by the printing house of the newspapers "Khorezm Haqiqati" and "Khorezmskaya Pravda". There is information about the correspondents, editors-in-chief, columns who worked in 1941-1945. The literary and cultural life of the region, the repertoire of theaters, cinemas, tours around the region, the works of representatives of the world of poetry were considered. On the basis of the information provided in the articles, the processes related to the repertoire of theaters, cinemas, activities, works of young poets, the 500th anniversary of A. Navoi were analyzed. The importance of articles authored by M. Shaykhzoda and A. Yakubovsky was considered. The role of "Advertisements" published in newspapers in literary and cultural life was revealed.
