This article examines today the role of national folk dances in the work of dancers and choreographers of our country, a survey of identity in the Republican choreography, ancient values, priorities, as well as artistic principles, innovations in choreography and performing arts. In addition, the features of the principles of development and progress of Uzbek choreography in the period of independence, the creative experience of searching and discovering new forms and means are studied.
